This Privacy Policy explains how Prerna Info Tech Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the DocuMind AI mobile application (the "App"). DocuMind AI lets you upload documents and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to read, extract, and summarize their content. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2.1 Information you provide

• Account details: your name, email address, and Google account ID, received when you sign in with Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Documents and content: files, text, images, and any other content you upload or submit in the App, including any personal or sensitive information contained in them.
• Your requests: questions and instructions you enter in the App.
• Communications: messages you send us for support.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device information (model, operating system version).
• Usage data (features used, crash logs, performance data).
• IP address and general network information.

2.3 Information from third parties

• Google, when you use Google Sign-In.
• Analytics and crash-reporting providers, if used.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the App.
• To create and manage your account.
• To process your documents and requests and return extracted data, summaries, and AI-generated results.
• To send important updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• To monitor usage, diagnose problems, and improve performance.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Processing of Your Documents

• Your content is sent only to provide the features you request in the App.
• These providers process your content on our behalf and under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your content.
• AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. It is provided for general information only and should not be treated as professional legal, financial, medical, or other advice. You should verify important information before relying on it.
• Do not upload content you are not allowed to share, or highly sensitive information (such as government ID numbers, passwords, or card details) unless you are comfortable with it being processed as described here.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• AI service providers that process your documents and requests, as described in Section 4.
• Service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Legal authorities, when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Others, with your consent, for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection.

6. Data Storage & Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can delete your account at any time in the App via Profile > Delete Account. This deletes your account information, uploaded documents, and data extracted from them. Third-party AI providers may keep content they receive for a limited period under their own policies, as described in their terms.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

9. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the documents and content you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload and process them.
• If your documents contain personal information about other people, you are responsible for having any permissions required by law to share it with us and our AI providers.
• Do not upload unlawful content or use the App for any illegal purpose.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your information, including documents sent for AI processing, may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
